Original fortune teller cards, quite a find
Someone contacted my penny-arcade.info site to ask if I could tell him anything about a large batch of fortune teller/love machine cards he recently bought cheap at auction. he knows absolutely nothing about what they were used for and in what machines. I've seen similar before of course but they are not really my style so I don't know if these look unusual or not or what machines they were used in. If someone can help ill pass the info on, Also are these rare? unusual? valuable? I have no idea, all help is much appreciated. There appear to be hundreds in the box going down several layers.

Just a thought.
If the information your correspondent seeks can't come via your site, then shouldn't you signpost him to where he may be helped?
That way the people who do supply the details to help him get the credit.
Just a thought.

These were for sale in a local auction to me and I was not impressed…..they had little in the way of fortunes on them, not sure what they are……given how little so many cards sell for, I deemed little value, but that is me…sold for about £55 with commission

I don't know what happened to you lately BP, you became a miserable old sod , don't worry, I won't post any interesting info again, in the past I've ALWAYS recommended people who contact me join pennymachines, every time!. but never againIf the information your correspondent seeks can't come via your site, then shouldn't you signpost him to where he may be helped?

Re: Original fortune teller cards, quite a find
you seem to be the rude one to me, I always advise the person who contacts me to join the forum, every single time I get a request, and that is a fact ill swear to. I also tell them Im contacting the forum to get better info than I have, sounds fair to me. I thought it was about getting people interested in the hobby, not getting credit !, doesn't it sound rude to you if every time someone asks me for info I just say "These people might help, please go to them and leave me alone". Also you say "characteristically rude", please show examples from the 1000's of posts I've made, over 12 years or so. (I'm sure you will troll through them all like you do when looking for spelling mistakes to throw back at people) not many, if any, can you say the same? Your post angered me because it was uncalled for, I will not comment on this again, it's not a subject for the forum. you have commented twice and I've commented twice. call it quits
