New Polyphon Success allwin identified
Just wondering if anyone knows who may have made this allwin? The slots are interesting. I’m guessing it was made by a Showman in a shed. Who knows?

The playfield fittings look professionally made and bring to mind an early German New Polyphon Supply allwin.
The rest is distinctly Australian home-grown Wineasy.

Hello, it look like the "Success" machine sold in an old sales of Nic Costa's collection (https://www.christies.com/lot/lot-46526 ... mary&lid=1). But not manufactured by Bussoz as indicated in the description of the machine!
Hope that can help for the restoration?

Re: Anyone know who might have made this Allwin?
Nic Costa attributes the Success to the New Polyphon Supply Co., Paris, 1910 (page 123 of Automatic Pleasures) which might account for the erroneous Bussoz attribution. New Polyphon was German-owned and London-based, but had a branch in Paris and marketed machines made in Germany, Britain and France.lastcenturygames wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 9:37 am ...not manufactured by Bussoz as indicated in the description of the machine!
