Snap!

Post by JC »

Stuart Dale wrote a piece for issue 48 on two electro-mechanical wall machines he has in his collection, Snap It and Auto Snap. They appear to be from the same maker, although that maker is as yet unknown. Niether Stuart or I have ever seen similar machines, so Stuart would really like to have some information on who produced them.
Here are the pictures:

I thought I might just do a little update on Jerry's post from 2010, was it really that long ago!! !OMFG!
The machines in Jerry's post were once in my collection of EM machines, sadly long gone, another machine from the same family has surfaced on Ebay, I am sure most of you will have seen it by now, Time moves on and we now know they were "most likely" made by Jamison's of Bridlington and sold by Kraft's who were Jamieson's main agent at that time, the machine does have a label for "Ben-Son Scarborough" they were local operators and not the manufacturer.
The artwork on the machine could be described as a little cheeky and could be easily miss read :o I know I had to look at it twice to make sure of what it said.
I wonder how many more variations of this game will turn up given time. CoNgRaTs

My type of machine, but too far away, as usual.

If Allan was still working, I'd be onto it.

I tried to buy that before but in London and seller was hard work.
All I could see was a U instead of the LI so I thought that was too funny to miss operating
