The Merit catcher

Does anyone know anything about this catcher machine? Date, maker? I've never seen one before, but I know little of this type of machine. I assume it's British with a name like "Rola Bola" and that it's a "drop case" rather than an Allwin?

We've all been at this for some time now, decades really, and yet new (old) machines I've never seen keep popping up. I love it.

Don't be fooled by the name 'Rola Bola' - those instruction cards don't look very original.
But I do agree that it's probably British, and it is clearly a catcher.

The guy who owns it posted pictures on Facebook including mechanism, but has since removed them. Was bought cheap at an auction recently apparently. Not seen this type before.
