Kenmar Cash Shot

Post by coppinpr »

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a photo of a "Kenmar Cash Shot" consol machine? It's what we would call a "modern" machine but it is a very early machine of its type. Someone is restoring one and I need to see (or at least have a clue) of what the art work looked like. :-(

It's discussed on the MPU Mecca site forum, under the heading RONS ELECTRO CLUB.
The artwork is faded on mine, but I'll try and get a decent picture.
Work was coming along nicely until I took delivery of a Brenco Wheel of Fortune, which has taken priority.

Hello Paul,
Here are some views of the badly-faded top-box artwork on my Cash Shot.
It's a kind of diorama, with the stallholder and the shooter set forward from the backdrop, which has a clear celluloid window behind which the double-ended arm carrying the targets revolves.
Mine is now in working order, with just one or two of the usual gremlins to sort out.
Will you be able to re-create the artwork from these rather poor scans? I would very much like to order a set, if so.

Thanks for the photos. I am at present making a set for a customer, or rather I will be when I get back from vacation starting this Friday. Interestingly his set has faded in exactly the same way.
