Bonjour de France

Post by chance10 »

There is no lock for the door but I opened it easily. I don't have the key to open the cash drawer.
I'm going to try to clean it well inside and out...
I'll post you some photos.
Thank you for any comments you may have!

Machine Aristocratique Arcadienne, fondamentalement Australienne.

I removed the mechanism and found a small spring at the bottom and a small piece of wood.
I don't see where this spring can be attached and what use can the wooden part have?

chance10 wrote:I have a small problem: the lever remains stuck in the lower position as you can see in the photos. How do I unblock it?

Do you refer to the lever that connects to the handle?

chance10 wrote:Yes, the big lever. I managed to get it to operate but for that I had to unscrew this part in the photo.
When it comes into contact with it, the axis does not rotate.

The position of that adjustment is critical.
It controls all of the cycle.
You must return it to exactly the previous location where it was.

If you need to unblock it, don't unscrew it again. Look above for the ratchet and release that.

chance10 wrote:Okay, yes I understand but no problem because I had made a mark to put it back in the same place!
The problem is that you have to pull very hard on the arm for the rear transverse axis to start rotating. There is a strange noise and the reels do not turn!!
I can't figure out what's stopping the rear axle from rotating easily and correctly.

Very good idea to make a mark!
Usually if the reels don't move, it's because the vertical fingers haven't retracted and are still touching the payout reels.
However you might need to check everything the rear axle moves.
The parts that affect the reels are:
The vertical fingers;
The timing bar (in front of the clock) which governs the reel stops;
The reel kicker.
But if you haven't got correct adjustment on the side lever you showed us yesterday, then it can be all of the above.
