Baby Grand
Baby Grand
Note sure if anyone saw this on the flea bay site, well the Dutch one anyway. Fell in love with it, but came second unfortunately. Was this the smallest bandit produced that paid and had a Jackpot? Have managed to find out very little, other than it was made by Chicago Coin Machine 1931/32... Great art deco design.

Different ............ didn't see it .......... lot of "handbag" though....... beyond my reach in these hard times in so much as if I'm chucking that much wadge at a slot I like to be able to hold it and examine it thoroughly before deciding it is as good as the photo shows.

Re: Baby Grand
Wow, what a beauty with an escalator too. That's too pretty, makes the pocket vest look even more hideous than it already is.
Nice find, finished at £586.00

Re: Baby Grand
Been collecting slots now for 5 years and joined this site about 3 months after collecting and owning 3 machines. I am sure many of you will have had many regrets for the machine you should have kept or missed out on, but for my 5 years there are few I reflect on more than the one in my 3rd post in 2008, the Baby Grand, that I under bid on and wonder whether I should have pushed that much more. Never seen one again and still looks as cute as it did then

Treefrog - theres a flyer for it page 95 of Lemons, Cherries and Bell Fruit gum by Bueschel - image is small but readable. Great book full of original color adverts for research as seems like you don't have it already?

Choice of nine on Amazon
BP
ps I checked the Library on this site, seems none in stock and suggests Amazon. Not a cheap book though.
Re: Baby Grand
Thanks guys, this is one of those books on my list and I pick a new book up every 6 months, gives you something to look forward to. There is also a advert/flyer in the Slot Machine Advertising book, which has about 500 pages of black and white, mainly US machines in.
On that note it has occurred to me have acquired a few flyers recently, I suspect some of you have large collections, shame these could not be turned into a UK book for others to enjoy
