Still need a 1p S10 Mechanism

Post by sir_arthur_streeb_greebling »

In my last post I also forgot to say that I also have a Lord Sega that is missing the 1p coin mechanism - anybody know where I could acquire one? The machine is otherwise working so it would be cool to complete it.

They are standard type used till today from the 60's in other machines as well like pinballs. Called the S10.

If you do a search on eBay for S10 mechanism, lots will come up, you need to check the coinage though as most don't list. Difficult to modify coinage without correct weightage levers and aperture parts.

Do not pay more than a fiver for one..

I have loads somewhere, just not sure I can easily get to quickly to see if I have a 1p one

Loads of old 10p S10 mechs about, 1p S10 mechs quite scarce I think.

Hi Folks, I got a 1p mech for me Lord Sega from a well known supplier in the north of this pleasant land of ours but it doesn't work and I can't get the guy to do anything about it. So I still need one - does anybody have one I can buy? I know there is one on the bay of e at the moment but I don't really want to pay nearly 30 quid with postage for one. I would be very grateful to anybody that can help here as I really want the machine running.

What is wrong with the one you got?

I assume the issue is not related to pennies getting stuck, I am sure you are already aware these have magnets in and post 87 pennies are steel so will not pass through. Of course might not be the issue but thought I would state obvious.

Not going to commit to being able to help and although I have a few kicking around, I have no idea where they are which is becoming a common problem these days !PUZZLED!

There is something strange that happens and it must be to do with the Flux of The Earth .....
It has been noted before that putting a request on here can result in one suddenly appearing on eBay !PUZZLED!

"treefrog" talks utter sense, tell us why the one you got doesn't work. :didact:
