Re: VINTAGE slot machine website changes hands
Adding photos to the arcade page and planning a new seaside piers page.
Found this new (to the site) photo of machines on Brighton's Palace Pier
Any old photos of seaside piers would be welcome please, email them to me please.

Re: VINTAGE slot machine website changes hands
All Stuart's pages have now been transferred to the new format at www.penny-arcade.info and the first new page has been added (but not completed). We have our first registered member (and an international one at that )
I've tested the site on three phones and two tablets as well as standard pc's and the photos come out large and clear.
There is an interesting Billboard article from 1957 on the Mills collection page related to the final demise of Mills Industries (not the Bell-O-Matic slot division)
and did you know the "Mills Novelty Co" name is still active making add-ons for one particular Mills machine?
Hope you like it.

Re: VINTAGE slot machine website changes hands
we are concentrating on adding bandit companies at the moment as they were not included on the original site, Pace is the latest to go on and should be finished today. also the selling page is running as a beta test and Id be interested to hear if people like the way it works.
Other pages in the pipe line are , Watling, seaside piers, weighing machines ,strength testers and fortune tellers.

"Wartling" of course being the action of getting a large blister on your right hand from rapidly playing a bandit ..... as well as other actions.

Hi, BP and PC.
Congrats on taking over Stuart's wonderful slottie site. Few minor queries, if I may?
1. Did Stuart's site not have a list of useful links?
2. How do I know when my registration as a member is complete? Or is this a work-in-progress?
3. Why am I asking these questions from PennyMachines?
Cheers,
Al

As I am sure most of you will have noticed by now, Paul has been doing Sterling work creeping around at night, breaking into collectors' houses and photographing examples of machines for the various "Makers' Pages" on www.penny-arcade.info

Re: VINTAGE slot machine website changes hands
Where was that auction????Following Bob Dieth's death in 2015 the contents of their warehouse were sold of at auction. These photos showing some of the hundreds of parts and machines stored there were taken just before the sale. The basement contained many older machines in various states of decay and some interesting machines can be seen in the third photo down

I'm not certain but I think it was held at the Warehouse which was (I think) in Wakefield.
