Oh! Bangor, Co. Down, then?
I love those seaside towns, they're so much like the Yorkshire ones were in the '60s.
...And the Fry at the Strand Bakery in Newcastle is amazing!

Hi Nick and welcome to the forum.
I've seen you on FB recently.

Your Swinger is a blast from the past! I've not seen one for over 50 years.

Yes Bangor Co.Down indeed , you're right the seaside towns here very like the ones in yesteryear in Yorkshire … where my cousins still live , unfortunately my home town Bangor has suffered from neglect over the decades but hopefully getting a much needed makeover.

Thanks Badpenny for that , yes have put photos of my machines on F/B recently they always evoke memories for people , my Swinger was made around 1967 / 68 and went to an arcade in London [ sticker is still on the screen ] before coming over to Barrys in Bangor in June 1970 for £185 on 3 monthly payments according to the information on the inside of the machine also got the guarantee card and parts sheet with the machine which is nice.

Great to have original sales material with a machine. Icing on the cake.

Have they done anything about the gaming rules yet? I just couldn't get used to playing machines that weren't permitted to pay out!

We have a section of the forum Resources which would be enriched by a copy of the sales material for your Swinger.
If at some point you could photocopy it and post it there, we'd all be grateful.

Cheers
