Joby Carter large machines sale

Post by treefrog »

Joby is selling a few large old pushers, including double falls and old penny change machines. May be of interest to the arcade owners out there.

The 'one-sided pusher' is called something like 'Flippa', I recall.
Still found occasionally. If it were pre-decimal, I'd consider it.

I suspect it is on old penny as all their machines were. They use to have tokens made with Carter's name penny sized.

Trying to work out how the Flippa works as in the name. Does it lift the coins upwards? !PUZZLED!

The Flippa Winner has a spinning paddle wheel under the coin entry that fires each coin upwards onto the shelves and then the
paddles push coins forward and off the shelves.
This new version can be converted to virtually any coin, but it is a cumbersome machine and takes up a lot of space, and there is a lot to wear out and replace compared to what it takes in revenue. You can pick these up for next to nothing in varying condition. There are much smaller options that perform better, much the same as pushers in general.
