Hi all
I’m a newbie to this. Have finally purchased my first machine as a restoration.
Have always wanted one since I was a child and at 41 have finally got one but am not out of the woods yet as she needs a bit of tlc - cosmetics mainly - re-chroming, new locks, could do with new wiring to lights and a good clean and lube up with the 3in1. My chosen machine is a Bell Fruit Cop-a-Lot in green. It appears different, having tic-tac-toe as a winning line, also it’s set up to only run on tokens and the Bell Fruit bottom badge has been replaced with an Indian's head.

I’m in need of a rear door and the cash box that goes in the bottom has anybody got these available?

Welcome to the best slot forum in the world (and that is true). We are an odd bunch, but always ready to help. One thing you have to know... we love photos, so photos please of your first born. Hope you realise it's a slippery slope from here, grease on the kitchen table if not the dinning room table, a Jennings Chief in the lounge and a couple of Mills mechanisms in the bedroom corner, all within the next year! There is a history of Bell-fruit on the www.penny-arcade.info site you might find interesting
http://www.penny-arcade.info/the-bell-fruit-

I suspect you are about to be asked to place your requirements in the wanted adds section,

The rear door on these is odd because, as you may have noticed, it doesn't actually give access to anything as the machine is a front loader. Cash boxes are notoriously absent from most machines I'm afraid, but you never know your luck.

As coppinpr points out FOR SALE & WANTED adverts/requests should be placed in The Market Click Here
The relevant procedure is here

Thanks, and good luck.

BP
PS Isn't the word "procedure" dire? Don't know why I said it ..... couldn't think of a different word s'pose. :o

Anybody know what the Indian head is about where the Bell Fruit lower badge should be?

The Indian head has been looted from a Jennings machine (although not their standard Indian head, they did use this one on odd machines), and used to partly cover the missing "Bell-Fruit" logo.

Chances of finding these are slim I think unless you can lay your hands on an absolute junker for spares - there are a few of those about.
Meantime, and if your skills run to metal fabrication, here's what they look like.

I never thought to fab one up. Would you be able to do me a rough sketch in pencil with the dimensions on? I think I will have a go at that, many thanks.

A very rare thing, the British-built mechanical 3-reeler.
I hated these at the time, although I'm now looking to buy one. I have the console 'brewers' one (Double Diamond), but not the ordinary arcade type.
'Action Line' would be OK, too!

Has anybody fabricated a cash draw for a bell fruit bandit?

Morning all I’m thinking of fabricating the cash box drawer and rear door for my Bell Fruit Cop a Lot. Has anyone done this and if so do you have a drawing and dimensions I could have a copy of to do the same please? !PUZZLED!

It might be wise to make a cardboard prototype before cutting and folding metal in case I messed up or your bandit is different.
