Hi everyone,
My Dad passed away last year and we have found this in the loft. Does anyone on here have any idea:
1. What it is? Make, model, year of manufacture etc..
2. Value? It’s not in working order.
3. If selling, where is the best place to advertise? Specialist auction sites or eBay.
Any help would be appreciated.

So that’s a Mills Poinsettia. I’d be interested in that myself potentially although I know little about them - see my post about a first bandit from just a few hours back. As for value in current condition there are those in here who might be able to give a steer.

Assuming you are UK based and assuming machine is complete, prices for poinsettia’s have been in last 5 years between £500 and £800.

Age, late 20’s

Where to seek, you can advertise on this site or there is a specialist site operated by Elephant House Auctions at www.colcon.uk who have a wide collector following. eBay will remove these items if discovered

Is it a 3D machine…..perhaps a picture of the rear may help advise. Also these often had damaged castings as thin and brittle, especially on top

The condition it's in is just what collectors look for and I doubt there is much wrong with the workings, as tom says a specialist site would be best for selling.

Nice to see an original example. They mostly have add-on jackpot fronts, by Pace or Rockola.

If you look carefully at the Boland re-vamps, you can often see the wooden base and sides of the original case, the sides being either cut-down or extended to fit the new castings.
There's a clear example in Braithwaite, if you don't happen to have one at hand.
