Hi, I have a vintage Carfield Club Nudger 1970, and would like to know if there was another one around to compare. Thank you.
Yes, I have one.
If you manage to get the optical payout to work, do let me know how!

These two machines were erroneously posted as queries in the Museum by unregistered visitor, George Stubbs on 18/12/21:

Sharp eye, Mr. PennyMachines. Looks like both games have had a tidy-up. They look a bit sterile now, particularly the hardware.

JP - the word is HIDEOUS! On seeing the first couple photos I was sure they'd had crappy modern cabinets made with pine. But seeing the before, sure enough there they are. Both just needed a good clean and detail and they'd have been magnificent. :NBG:

Perhaps the question should be, 'who unmade them?'
I hope the Diamond pinball didn't meet a similar fate.

I doubt our UK members can help with this, as it's an American machine.
This one suggests the original paint was pale eggshell blue.

Moved from the Arena - Site Admin.

Hi
Thank you for accepting me!
I have joined for some advice - I have owned an Aristocrat Grosvenor for around 35 years. It was bought as a prop for a documentary about the Bay City Rollers....
It has sat as a curio in my office - then home since then.
Could anyone give me any info on it and perhaps an estimate for what it might be worth please? I may have to part with it as we may be moving house later this year.
The mechanism still works but there is no key. The lights all work.
Any information appreciated.

Query received by email - Site Admin.
How could I find more information on a lock I have, made by Colledge and Bridgen, Wolverhampton. Unusual because it is a penny operated public toilet door lock. The Black Country Lock Museum, West Midlands have said it is a very rare lock but there was no-one there at the time to say more about it. Could you please help.

I posted a round-up of several toilet door locks here: When you gotta go...
But I have not seen College & Bridgen's version.
It would be great to see an image of it.
COLLEDGE AND BRIDGEN LTD. 78 CHURCH LANE, WOLVERHAMPTON
Lock makers of every description, they also dealt in high-class builders' ironmongery and general hardware. The company was founded by Charles Colledge in 1870. In 1876 Harvey Bridgen joined the firm.

They are listed in Whitaker's 1914 Red Book of Commerce as lock manufacturers and hardware merchants, specialising in high-class locks and builders' hardware, door springs etc. They were still manufacturing locks in 1937, but were not in existence in 1970.
