Need help with Peerless viewer
Hello,
I just bought a Peerless Mutoscope (bleu) in perfect condition and working properly at first. The problem is that due to the transport, the mechanism is defective. The engine starts, but the cards don't move. I suppose I have to reset the machine in start mode again, but how? Can you help me?
Can you also tell me if, by any chance, it is possible to find an operator manual?
Thanks in advance,
JOF

Re: Need help with Peerless viewer
You asked about a manual and I've never heard of one existing. There is a flyer and I have a copy, but the original belongs to a friend and he plans to publish sometime so I can't. It only shows similar to my photos in the link: Re: Coin operated stereo viewers. My machine is long gone though, so I have no other info at hand.
Re: Need help with Peerless viewer
Looking at the mechanism, it seems both well-constructed and easily laid-out.
I would think that working along from the part which IS moving, to the part which ISN'T, will identify the fault.
