The Paramount Trotters - not seen this before?

I have one and I too assumed it's Bally. Do you have any books or schematics, as mine don't work?
Have you any pictures?

Hi,
I think I am the mug who brought the machine that’s pictured. I am in trouble with it. I can get some of it to work. I can get the fruit reels or whatever to run, after repairing some of the relays, but I can't get it to hold or payout.
Really enjoying the challenge, but has anyone got any idea of the sequence? I am stumbling around in the dark.
It has had several mods.
Anyone local to Coventry that fancies a delve?
regards
phil

Lucky you! At least if all else fails you can stand behind it and make it into a bar

Steve Huntley at Swallow Amusements is the man for these.
I'm not sure if Hayling Island is near Coventry, though.

Re: The Paramount Trotters - not seen this before?
Hi,
I bought the Paramount Trotters machine. It came to me in much worse condition than the picture shown. The legs had been broken off and the glass broken, but it’s up and running. Cleaned all relays and slowly worked through the faults. The only bit I could not sort was the payout. It would pay out very small amounts, but not the five bob prize.
The machine has a lot of modifications and some wires had been taken off and taped back to the loom, so I reconnected four wires that I thought should be connected and 'hey presto', it now pays out. So some less scrupulous operator had fixed it so that the upper wins didn’t pay out. I will have fun with it and when bored with it sell it on.
I have spent many hours on it, but really enjoyed it.
Just bought a Turner vending machine. It’s wood and takes 6d coins, but can't find anything else about it. Any ideas?

Well done getting the Paramount Trotters into better shape.
Is this the Turner vendor you bought?
The design with the central mirror suggests it might have been for vending sanitary products such as paper towels and soap, perhaps.
The only vendors I was aware of from Turner Automatic Machines Ltd are the narrow cast aluminium sweet and cigarette VAL machines.
