G'day Aussie newbie. Nutt and Muddle Royal Routine

Post by lozza »

G'day guys, got this old Nutt and Muddle poker machine, no idea what year. Seems complete.
It's a bandit but has circuit boards, eproms but can't get it working, No display matrix so hard to identify faults. Hopefully the photo comes out OK.

Cheers Laurie

Welcome,
I'm afraid your machine is beyond my experience.

Some members with more knowledge of this type of machine may come on to assist you. However, other forums may have more members with more experience in this type of machine. You could try https://www.fruitemu.co.uk/ib/

Others here may also advise, other forums too.
Hope it's an easy fix and you get up and running!

Nope, it's not an easy fix, unless you can steal parts from your other one?

No experience of this machine either. The only advice I can give is to trace the voltages with a multimeter looking for blown fuses, shorts etc. BUT be very careful around mains voltages  Old electrolytic capacitors are the main culprits for failures, so check to see if any show signs of burning or leakage.
Otherwise, good luck.

Wish I could steal parts from the other one but it's an Aristocrat Microstar. Would love to get this one working. Surprisingly can't find any open door switch.
