I noticed a very cheap Test Your Skill penny flick that sold on eBay for £99, which I was unsure of at first, but looks pucker and maybe a BMCo machine. Very cheap at that price !THUMBS!

Saw this when the auction was live. It was listed as an auction or make offer. Offered him £300 which he refused. !PUZZLED!

Probably just gave that price to eBay to pay a much smaller commission on what he actually took.

Actually, it did sell for that price - so all was genuine on ebay. The seller anticipated more active interest and lost out on the item. Apparently after the auction he was contacted by numerous parties offering more, but honourably stood by the auction result.

BP, agree with the buyer to take a lower offer and cash for the rest in person on pickup?

Apparently the seller paid around £460 with commission in an auction and was offered a profit on it by two parties as he left the auction. So that explains why he didn't accept the £300 offer. Obviously, he slipped up expecting the usual flurry of last minute bids leading to a decent price (and a profit rather than a loss).
