Your Fortune And A Smile

Post by hottoddy »

Happy New Year 2022

I recently stumbled upon this interesting wall machine. I'm not sure if it's a one-off home-made machine, or a prototype, or some kind of steampunk design. "YOUR FORTUNE AND A SMILE". The Fortune reel spins to give the patron their "Fortune" and the Funhouse Mirrors give the patron a "Smile".

Cheers

As the first one to market, I think it suffered from the "one-off home-made machine?"question Hottoddy posed - that and maybe the questionable value of marrying miniature funhouse mirrors with a fortune teller. !PUZZLED!

Especially galling when that Nostalgic piece of tat 'Fun at the Fair' sold for £400.
