Aristocrat Nevada Inca Gold - slow spin

Post by mpeacock100 »

!PUZZLED!

Hi folks, I got this machine at auction a wee while ago and just getting round to sorting it out. Now working (more luck than judgement!) but the reels are running mind-numbingly slowly!
Any help, tips and advice would be gratefully received but please keep it in layman’s terms as I have only ever worked on modern machines before.
Thanks in advance 👍

Hi and welcome.

I have the same machine but in tabletop, rather than your console variant.

Technically yours would have a Grovesnor Marquee badge and not a Nevada, as currently. But as it's in good condition, I would just leave as is.

Follow the link posted above and see how you get on.

Thanks for the tip, most appreciated. I don’t suppose there are any graphical instructions available for them? Just read some of the tips and haven’t got a scooby about the part names!
Also what is the value of this (once fully working)? Will be punting it on, as wife won’t let me keep it in the house and shed is too damp n cold.

I suggest if you don't understand what you're tackling and aren't planning to keep it, just flog it in as is condition.
That way you won't end up losing bits or making it worse.

Will go through the tips and see if I can work it out thanks.
If I was to sell as it is, what you reckon I could get?
Cheers

You probably paid all it’s money as looks like the one that it sold at Dreweatts in Jan for £585.

Consoles machines of this period probably hold a slightly less value to desktop models
