Halfpenny Allwin De Luxe
Hello. I have an Allwin De Luxe flick ball machine which works on the old halfpenny.
It works well and a win cup always pays back the halfpenny.
It does not however deliver a free ball as well.
It does not say on the backflash that a free ball will be returned with a win, only that your halfpenny will be returned.
Does anyone know if this is how it should be.
Thank you.
Paul.

Hi Paul.
Can you post pictures of your allwin including a view of the mechanism?
Chances are it can easily be adjusted to return the ball.

The knob shown is attached to the ball gate and allows you to move it aside to allow winning balls to return to play.

Beaten to it by Mr. P; but seeing as I put my clothes on to do this I'll post it any way.

Re: Halfpenny Allwin De Luxe
Hello again. Has anyone got any idea on the age of my Allwin.
Kind Regards Paul.

Re: Halfpenny Allwin De Luxe
I'm going to hazard a guess yours is a British-made version of the Saxony allwin, possibly mid 1930s. See Seven mysteries of the Saxony allwin Half penny play suggests earlier, rather than later.
