Sega Windsor

Post by mick »

Hi
I wonder if anybody has a parts sheet/book for the Saga Windsor. I've just bought one and it needs stripping and cleaning. I think there are also bits missing.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum mick, and congratulations on your purchase.
Only a small point, now I'm 69, Saga is the company that pesters me about buying coach holidays and insurance.
Sega is inventor of Sonic The Hedgehog and Windsor one arm bandits.
There are a couple of manuals around from that time that show exploded views of your machine. Perhaps somebody has one.

Your machine is pretty much indestructible. Clean all the old oxidised grease off and very lightly oil the parts that don't come in contact with a coin with sewing machine oil, then you can check if it works. Post as many photos as you like on the forum of areas where you think parts might be missing. If it doesn't work, tell us what's not happening and we can advise you, no problem.

Mick apologies. I promised to add a full copy onto the Resources a long time back and will do when back from having gone awol…. Probably won’t be for two weeks

Thing is, it may not help fix your issue and only covers the basic machine, not all the variants. What is your actual issue with the machine?

It didn't work and was full of grease. I've stripped it down and cleaned it now. Just going to try and rebuild i. I don't know where the payout slide stop lever goes.

So most machines are similar. See a very dirty Mills machine below... The slide bar green arrow goes under the timing bar red arrow.

Also Sega Continental parts manual very similar below, but are not always useful as a guide on these
