Essex
Essex Auto Manufacturing Co. Ltd. operated from 1924 from the Kursaal, Marine Parade, Southend-on-Sea under the proprietorship of Gordon Smith. He relocated to a Southend workshop in 1935 and died in 1938. Patents filed included games, a skill stop mechanism for fruit machines and a coin acceptor slide which was used on many pinballs and other machines. |
